The Our Forbidden Love series (shortened to OFL) is a collection of books by Wattpad author ZEW1303. It follows the story of Starley Star-Bub and Alexander Stonal.

Storyline Overview[edit]
The storyline follows the relationship of protagonists Starley, a merfolk from the city of Oceanum Villa, and Alex, a human from the Gold Coast. The two meet after Alex noticing her spying on him. Starley then proceeds to go to the Sea Witch to get a potion allowing her to become a human temporarily. She then spends the next month living on the Gold Coast with Alex, dating him and learning about human life. When the effect wears off, Starley takes Alex back to Oceanum Villa with him, using some sort of magic (possibly derivative of Water Manipulation) to allow him to breathe underwater. Starley is offered a position on the Government, and would later lead to the two going to Kiwi Civitatem and using the Stonal Shell to turn Alex into a proper merfolk.
Novel Description[edit]
OFL currently consists of three books, with another two/three planned. Books one and two have been written and uploaded to Wattpad. book three is still being written, but it is being edited by Zach_C, unlike the first two books, which have no official editor. So far, three parts have been uploaded: the Prologue, and the first and second chapters.
The first book follows the storyline from Alex and Starley meeting (in September 2021) to Starley being invited onto the Government (in October 2021). The second book starts in January 2022 with Starley’s initiation onto the Government, and follows the storyline to the conflict between: Alex, Starley, Binah, and Whitney; and Weedy, Peter, and Rhylee. The third book starts where the second leaves off, in March 2022.
Also fitting in with the story is Noster Amor Vetiti Supersunt, also known as the Handbook. It contains information for the interest of fans that is not explicitly covered in the main books, such as the age of each of the Keepers, and original planning documents.
